The recommended server is usually the best choice for everyday browsing. It considers distance and current availability so you do not need to compare locations manually.

Choose a location manually

Select a nearby location for lower latency. Choose a specific country only when a website or work service expects a connection from that region. More distance can mean a slower response.

If a server feels slow

Disconnect and try another server in the same region. If every server is slow, test your normal internet connection, restart the router and check for downloads running on other devices.
