FAQ
A straight answer.
Plans, privacy, setup and billing, explained without the small print.
Getting started
Choose a plan, download the app for your device, sign in and select Connect. The app recommends a fast server automatically, and you can choose a different location whenever you need one.
VPN Lightning supports Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, browsers and compatible routers. A router can also protect devices that cannot run a VPN app directly.
One subscription can protect up to 10 devices. A configured VPN router counts as one connection while covering the compatible devices using that network.
Privacy and connection
The VPN encrypts traffic between your device and the VPN server. Websites see the VPN server IP address rather than the public IP assigned to your connection.
No single tool can guarantee anonymity. Accounts you sign into, cookies, browser fingerprinting and information you share can still identify you. A VPN is one important part of a broader privacy routine.
Encryption and the distance to a server can add some overhead. Try the automatic server choice or another nearby location. If your normal connection is also slow, restart your router and test again.
Plans and billing
Yes. You can manage renewal from your account dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your protection continues until the end of the paid period.
VPN Lightning plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Contact support within 30 days of your eligible purchase if the service is not right for you.
Sign in, open Billing in your dashboard and select an invoice to view or download it. If an invoice is missing, contact support with the email address used for the purchase.
